We’re back!
CHRISTMAS FAIR
23rd + 24th Nov 2024
Open Studios
Hidden around every corner, artists and makers are busy creating here at Estate of the Arts. Day to day, these workspaces are closed but for this weekend you’ll get the chance to meet most of them and engage with many different practices; printmaking, ceramics, painting, fashion, jewellery and more.
Makers Market
This winter join us for our yearly Christmas market. Renowned for it’s special selection of local creatives, artists and small businesses. With 25+ stalls selling all manner of wares, you’re bound to find something for that hard-to-buy-for person this Christmas.
Live Music & CLASSES
No arts celebration in Bristol is complete without music and getting your hands dirty. With live performances and workshops in our studios scheduled throughout the weekend, you’re in for a great day out at the market that’s about so much more than shopping.
*Full Schedule & line up TBC. Keep an eye on our socials! Please note we may have less music this year due to funds.

Applications are open anyone, but we prioritise smaller, local businesses.
ARTISTS - Due to a lot of our tenants being painters, printmakers and ceramicists, these stall allocations are very limited.
-
There is a suggested donation of £2 per person. Without this the event would not be sustainable.
Most traders will have card machines but it’s best to bring both cash and card just in case.
-
Tables are not provided. Chairs are provided, as long as we have enough (we haven’t run out in the past).
Outdoor Stalls:
2m x 1.5m
This option is un-covered. Please bring a sturdy umbrella or parasol in case of showers. In some cases if you have a small 2x2m gazebo we should be able to fit you in but it must be sturdy and have sufficient weights, just let us know.
Indoor Stalls:
2m x 1.5m
If you need more space than this, please tick the relevant box on the application form, you'll be charged extra accordingly, and positioned for this.
BYO Gazebo:
3m x 3m
Must be of a professional standard with weights of at least 15kg per leg. If structure is not considered sound for the weather forecast you will be asked to take it down.
-
While a majority of the studios and market is at ground level, we regret that some space cannot be reached for wheelchair uses and some of the groundfloor studios may be tricky to manoeuvre at peak times in our corridors.
Dogs are very welcome but please keep them on a lead!
All ages welcome but you may want to bring headphones for children as we often have live music.
